Hex Reaction Ball Set of 5

The Hex Reaction Ball is a unique aid that improves hand-eye coordination and reaction time. The hexagonal shape and high bounce rubber material make the ball hop and jump randomly, returning to the user in unpredictable ways. Suitable for both individual play and team training, the Reaction Ball helps users improve speed, coordination and sharpen depth perception. Also, the 5-color set can be used to identify specific targets with a color code.
With this training ball, guards and coaches can turn any training session into an effective, cognitive and fun way to improve skills.

  • 6-sided high-bounce rubber design causes the ball to leap and hop randomly
  • Use solo on hard surfaces or walls or in a team setting
  • Sharpens depth perception while making training fun and effective
  • Great training tool for all sports

One of many tactical training applications:

  • The participant has to concentrate on one activity (e.g. some juggling).
  • The instructor throws a hex ball at the participant, which lands on the floor and bounces away in an unpredictable direction.
  • The participant must find the color of the ball and then hit the corresponding color-coded targets from the same position.

This generates various additional fields for training, such as cognitive overload, visual search, visual recognition, etc. Such training can easily be supplemented with acoustic components, numbers, shapes, letters, laser pointers or BLAZEPODS.

We highly recommend a class with KHIMAIRA Strategy Tactics  to gain an overview of the integration of cognitive aspects into tactical training.
